Fertility has become harder for many women. And couples!
Making sure you are eating nourishing foods is critical and will improve your opportunities to conceive and hold your pregnancy.
The above are my 3 favourite foods for you to indulge in!
Broccoli and green leafy vegetables!
Green leafy vegetables do many beneficial things in our body including:
- Alkalising our pH
- Breaking down harmful estrogens
- Increasing fibre so you can pass waste matter easily and effortlessly
- Add anti-oxidants to your body which protects against free radicals and the harmful affects of ageing.
2. Eat Iron Rich Foods
Eating iron helps your body hyper-oxygenate when it needs to. This is important for supporting your newly conceived embryo.
Iron rich foods include all meats : red meats (eye fillets, rump, bisket, beef cheek, lamb, roo, venison) and white meats (fish, pork, turkey).
Vegetarian sources include: green leafy vegetables (spinach, kale, bok choy) and molasses, cacao.
Eat protein rich foods.
These include all meats, nuts and seeds
Vegetarian options include nuts and seeds (all nuts: macademias, pecans, almonds, walnuts) and seeds (chia, sunflower, quinoa)
