Increase green light activities
In my 8 Week Life Transformation Program (which isn’t just for menopausal women) I encourage green light activities every single day.
Green light activities as aposed to red light, are activities where we lose ourselves in time.
We immerse ourselves in an activity and time comes to a standstill.
When this occurs, our hormones balance, we lose weight and we top up our adrenal glands.
When we relax we drop our cortisol levels, our testosterone and elevate our dopamine and oxytocin.
This leads to weight loss, greater happiness and greater health.
Green light activities vary person to person, but as an example, mine are doing art, bushwalking, surfing, meeting new people, listening to bands, taking photos, journaling etc.
Sex is a great green light that many avoid but seriously from a health perspective it is worth adding back in if you have dropped it off the list.
